I am so thankful for Elizabeth Pantley's common sense solutions which take into account the need to help a child settle. She is really on target!

I am a huge advocate for nap time! My rule is you nap until you start Kindergarten. If they don't want to sleep that is okay with me, but it is quiet time! I need that time and so do they. I encourage my two year old to take books or a small toy to bed and that helps him realize I'm not forcing him to sleep. After about 10 minutes he's out :)
