A Perfect Gift for Pregnant and New Moms

by mmuse on March 21, 2009

Welcome back!

mydigitimecapsuleIf you are pregnant or know someone who is, you’ll want to see what twitter friend & Mompreneur  mother of three, Sherri Morris has for you!  When Sherri was 12 weeks pregnant, she knew it was time to start a new business despite the economy.  She took an idea that would chronicle life’s journeys in an easy, fast and eco-friendly way, and  created the My Pregnancy Digi Time Capsule.

The My Pregnancy Digi Time Capsule was released in December of 2008 as a No-Download USB Based Software.  Since then, it has been grabbing headlines, featured in blogs, a magazine, Twittered across the board and is gaining new retailers every week.  Everyone is saying the same thing, “It is the Mommy-to-Be Must Have”!

Jodie Lynn, CEO and President of The Adding Wisdom Award Program, and an award-winning, internationally syndicated family/health columnist, contacted Sherri about her creation.  Sherri was delighted to discover that the My Pregnancy Digi Time Capsule has won four Parent-to-Parent Adding Wisdom Awards, which are given only to products of outstanding quality that support family values.

In an e-mail to Morris, Lynn stated “Digi Time Capsule was voted on and approved by our Family Testers as one of this year’s special client winners.  Actually, what we’ve done is used four of the 10 for you, but that’s ok.  Since we do lose money but certainly want to continue to offer this to only a handful of highly selective clients, Sherri, your invention is totally awesome and amazingly unique! We just had to give you four categories!  You should be very proud!  Congratulations!”

The My Pregnancy Digi Time Capsule proudly sits alongside Rachel Ray, Microsoft, Baby Einstein, Build-A Bear, Monopoly, Hallmark, Etch-A-Sketch, Scholastic, Buzz Word, Bob the Builder, Barney, Thomas the Train and many other great products that have won the Parent-to-Parent Wisdom Award.

When asked how Morris felt about the awards and what’s next, Morris replied “It was certainly a cause to crack out my Happy Dance. I was just thrilled, and of course I Twittered it to the world!  As far as what I would love to see happen next, Morris replied “Can you say Oprah’s Favorite Things? And I’d also like to teach my Happy Dance to Ellen DeGeneres!

This is the first I’ve heard about this, but I definitely want to learn more about it. It sounds like something our moms would really enjoy. Thanks for introducing us to great new products!
