Welcome back!
When EcostoreUSA.com offered to send me any two of their products to review, I jumped at the chance. I am always on the lookout for high quality, eco-friendly household products. Ecostore USA’s promise to deliver highly effective products for everything from bath & body, baby and pet care to household cleaners with No Nasty Chemicals™ intrigued me. I’ve seen many supposedly “green” products with suspect ingredients. So I checked the fine print and discovered Ecostore USA’s products contain no petrochemicals, no synthetic enzymes, no optical whiteners, no synthetic perfumes or dyes, no phosphates, chlorine, SLS, TEA, MEA or DEA, and no parabens or propylene glycol. That satisfied me that the usual “standard issue” chemicals (read: culprits) are not included! So then my question became “Do they really work?”
I have highly sensitive skin, and had developed a rash on my hands from a the use of a so-called “natural” version of a big name dish liquid. What better product to start with than Ecostore’s plant based Dishwash Liquid? The barely-there, gentle fragrance was immediately appealing, but what sold me is the fact that this dish liquid lives up to its claim of being effective and concentrated. Happily, a small amount goes a long way, and gets the job done. PLUS, after two weeks of use, not only are my dishes sparkling clean, my hands are happier!
I reserved the toughest test for Ecostore’s Rosemary Orange Shampoo. I have tried more than my fair share of “natural” shampoos over the years that claim to be designed for fine and oily hair. Seriously. Most of them have brought disappointing results, requiring roughly double the normal amount of chemical-laden shampoo to get that “clean” feeling (if they worked at all). So I was dubious that this would be any different.
I was wrong. This shampoo ROCKS! Even though it doesn’t say it’s concentrated, a small amount works beautifully. I may actually use less than standard fare shampoos, and it does a fabulous job bringing volume and life back into my long, fine hair, just like it says. Bonus: I LOVE the scent. These two products have restored my faith in high quality, affordable, eco-friendly hair and household products. Give them a try and let me know what you think.
Have another “green” line that’s your favorite? Drop me a line – I’d love to hear about it!
